Synopsis

A celebrated novelist, haunted by the diminishing returns of his own imagination, retreats into a private wilderness of memory, desire, and unfinished work. As the people closest to him orbit nearer — a wife who has waited too long, a friend who has seen too much, a stranger who arrives like weather — the boundaries between inspiration and ruin begin to blur. Waterlily Jaguar is a quiet, searching drama about the cost of making art, and the lives that gather at its edges.
